About us

Born as a motorsport and automotive marketing agency, we have continually honed our skills in the fast-paced, technical, competitive world of racing. This drives us to provide solutions to tight, immovable deadlines and deliver to the highest standard every time. Teamwork is the only way to succeed, and creative problem-solving is second nature.

Since 2013, our team has grown. Our creativity grew. Our ambitions grew. But not our egos. No. We're nice people doing work we love. And doing it well.

We're always looking for exceptional people to do brilliant things. Right now, we're on the hunt for a driven, focused, and passionate Event Account Manager to join us.

If you're full to the brim with a can-do attitude and a passion for events within partnerships, this role could be perfect for you.

The role

We’re looking for someone who will create an immediate impact within our company and across our client's account, delivering events within various motorsport disciplines.

Reporting to the Account Director, the Event Account Manager will be responsible for organising and implementing events throughout the year. The successful person will need to be happy to get stuck in with managing lots of elements, a desire to get their hands dirty and importantly, deliver onsite. So, a willingness to travel is a must.

A comprehension of the role sponsorship plays for a global brand is important for this role in order to understand the client’s partnership objectives and how the events fit into their global sponsorships. You should be able to plan several events simultaneously, demonstrating the ability to multi-task with significant event experience in executing multifaceted activities to the highest level and with precise attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, creating, developing, and executing integrated events, ensuring they align with the client’s brand guidelines and objectives
  • Regularly engage with markets and client hosts to ensure their needs are met and exceeded for each event
  • Collaborate with the wider Ignition Collective team to create and develop comprehensive documentation and supporting materials required for each event
  • Create written documents including welcome letters, event briefing packs, post-event reports and ROI documents
  • Support on Health & Safety deliverables and creating risk assessments for events
  • Manage the events from concept through to post-event analysis, including ensuring all documentation and tracking during event planning are up to date
  • Oversee the production of documents, creative and digital assets and ensure the highest quality standards
  • Budget management and reconciliation
  • Liaise with suppliers and agencies
  • Manage individual events budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiencies

What we are looking for

  • A hands-on approach at events and willingness to get stuck in
  • A highly organised, professional approach with the ability to add fun and elevate guest engagement on event
  • To be creative and think outside the box, providing innovative solutions that add value to planned events
  • Understand clients' objectives, challenges, and business landscape
  • An awareness of different motorsports and experience in the motorsport industry delivering events from coordination to on-the-ground execution
  • Budgeting skills within an events background
  • Excellent people skills with experience working with clients and building relationships
  • Effective communication and creative skills
  • Confident with exceptional management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Be a team player! We have a talented team of people who work together and take pride in what they do
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools
  • An understanding of health and safety elements and risk assessments
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Hands-on mentality and high-service orientation
  • Ability to take on other projects when necessary
